Field Trip: PA Farm Show

This week, we visited Pennsylvania's annual Farm Show, which is a big deal around here, but it was the girls' first time going. Some of it was a little overwhelming. For those who have never gone, the Farm Show takes place is multiple connected buildings and arenas in one giant complex. Each building is filled with a variety of farm animals, food vendors, farmers' markets, exhibits, and much more. You could spend a whole day there and still not see everything. We spent one morning there, so our priority was to see lots of animals. Here are only a few snippets of what we saw. It was also nice to stop and chat with some of the farmers as well, and learn about how they care for their animals. And of course, no Farm Show visit would be complete without a visit to the butter sculpture!
