Flowers and Favorites
I couldn't really think of anything to write for my next blog post, especially since there's really no rhyme or reason to this blog. But I was looking through my Longwood Gardens photos from last weekend and realized how much I really like some of them. So, here are my favorite shots from the day.
These signs were scattered all over the gardens.
Yes, we are on a safari.
It's sensitive fern. It needs tenderness and love.
I'm not sure what kind of flower this is, but I loved the curly petal.
Here's a cool dragon statue from the children's garden.
Sparkly gold TOMS make a fabulous 50th birthday present. The best part is that now a child in a third world country has a brand new pair of shoes! Check it out here.
Here's another cool flower. Again, not sure what it is. If you know, please tell me.
"I was counting so that we could follow a beat and both drink the same amount."
"Ohhh, I thought I only had three seconds so I drank as much as I could!"
I love the way this picture turned out. But how could it not turn out great? Handsome man = great picture!

For those of you other picture-takers, do you ever get that moment, after a day of taking pictures you're not satisfied with, where you finally take one and think to yourself, "Ahhh, now this is the one I've been looking for"?
