2012 in Review

Here’s a quick review of some fun things that happened in 2012 for us!!

February
We had our engagement pictures taken!

We also began Brethren in Christ World Mission’s Missionary Development Program. Basically, it helps us prepare to be missionaries by reading books, having mentors, etc. You can read more about it here.

Spring
Judah and I both had internships during the Spring Semester at school. Judah was working for a small engineering firm, and I was working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

May
On May 12th, we graduated! After 4 years of hard work, we finally got to wear those funny, square hats! Oh, and get a degree...

June
On June 2nd, we moved Judah to our apartment in Rhode Island (I moved in later). It’s small, but it’s our first home together! I wrote a little more about our move here.
So... much... unpacking...
On June 30th, we got married!

Our first dance! Hooray for swing dancing!

Our wonderful bridal party! Except the flower girl...
 July
Immediately after the wedding, we went on our honeymoon to beautiful, historic, Cape May, NJ! We stayed in an adorable bed&breakfast, climbed a lighthouse, ate delicious food, and went dolphin watching!

Also in July, Judah was hired as a draftsman for a utilities engineering firm.

August
In August, we had the privilege of witnessing several friends and family members get married (including Judah’s brother). In fact, we went to 3 weddings in two weekends!
Here is my lovely college roommate! I'm not a bad photographer, eh?

During one of the wedding weekends, Judah got a car! Actually, it was his older brother’s, who was planning on selling it because they’re having a baby (yay!) and it has no back seat. This turned out to be a pretty big blessing because now we both have transportation to work!

Space car!

Later in August, we attended the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island. And we never left! =)

December
After several months of babysitting and job searching, I was finally hired part time to do in-home therapy for special needs children!

On the 25th, we had our first Christmas together!

So, 2012 came and went! So many exciting, life-changing things happened this year, and I’m eager to see what 2013 will bring!

...what's my New Year's resolution, you ask? To be a better blogger...
