The Lonely Snowman (and other recent crafts)

A few weeks ago, I made these adorable sweater pillows. They are so precious and I love seeing them on my couch every day. So I decided to take it a step further and make pumpkins out of the sleeves. They are also really precious and I love them. Shortly thereafter, I was asked to be a vendor at a church event, and I said “YES!” without actually knowing what I would sell. While contemplating my options, and discussing my sweater crafts with a friend, she challenged me to “use the whole animal” when using sweaters for crafts.

And that’s how these guys were created.

And for snippets of sweater too small for a stocking, I made mittens!

Most of these things did not sell at the church craft show, so they are now available on my Etsy shop, which you can visit through this link, or by clicking on the “shop” tab at the top of this page.

However, I am completely sold out on my pumpkins, and sold most of my snowmen, so I didn’t get a very good picture of them. I unfortunately don’t always have that kind of foresight. So you can look at this crappy phone picture instead!

I only have one snowman left, and you can visit him at my shop. He’s a little lonely now that his friends are gone, and he is waiting to go to a good home!

Yes, this is shameless advertising and self-promotion.

…but I’m also concerned for the welfare of the snowman.
