Monday Makings: Pumpkin's Family Photobook

Every year, my mother-in-law makes family photo calendars for the whole family. I love being able to see the faces of our loved ones hanging up on our kitchen wall, and I'm excited to teach Pumpkin the names of all her aunts and uncles as she grows. This is especially helpful since our family is spread across the globe. We have family everywhere from Louisiana to Thailand, and close friends in even more places!

I wanted something besides our calendar that Pumpkin could look at and see the faces of our loved ones, both on Judah's side of the family and on mine, as well as a few close friends. So I decided to make a photobook for her!

In this book, we have several different states and countries represented: Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Thailand, China, South Korea, and South Africa. I think that's all of them…

It was important to me that Pumpkin could see the faces of people we don't see very often, so that she is familiar with them.

For the back, I wrote a little poem.

As you can see, my poetry skills are off the charts. But it gets the point across! She is a very loved little girl, and I can't wait to see her loving her family as she grows.
