Drum roll, please...
You've all been waiting for this! Well, maybe you have. Maybe you had no idea that this was coming.
Well, here it is: the official, amazingtastic Nutella Cake recipe!!
(Isn't this exciting?)
This recipe is for a loaf pan. I didn't make a loaf. I made a three-layer monstrosity instead. So I think I doubled or tripled the recipe, but I don't quite remember.
Nutella Cake
Things You'll Need:
2 sticks unsalted butterāØ
1 cup sugarāØ
4 eggs
3 cups flour
3 teasp. baking powder
1/2 teasp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup milk
7 oz. Nutella
Grease for pan
Loaf pan
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease loaf pan. āØāØIn a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.āØāØ In a second bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat the eggs and milk into the mixture. Stir in flour mixture, then add Nutella.āØāØ Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake cake for around 50 min. until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for at least 15 min. before cutting and serving.
And of course you need....
Nutella Frosting
¾ c butter, softened
¼ c chocolate hazelnut spread
1 tsp vanillaāØ
1 Tbs milk
3 c powdered sugarāØāØ
Blend all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Adjust consistency by adjusting with a little more milk if too stiff, or a little more powdered sugar if too runny.
I multiplied the frosting recipe as well. For my cake, I made three layers, and put frosting and crushed hazelnuts between each layer.

It didnāt turn out as well as I would I have liked it to, but perhaps I can try again sometime. I got really dry the day after I made it, but that gave us an excellent excuse to pour Half and Half over it, which was another good choice.
So, thatās all. If you try this recipe, let me know how it works out!

I decorated the top with more crushed hazelnuts and lined the outside edge with Ferrero Rocher chocolates, which I think was an excellent life decision.
