Bows and Bowties

This weekend, we went to visit Judah’s brother and sister-in-law for the holiday. Our nephew is a little over a year old, and he is a scrumptious little guy. And they’ve got another little one on the way, so you know what that means for me...

CRAFTING TIME!!

A while ago, I made a bunch of little hairbows for my sister using this tutorial. Well, I decided that my neice-to-be needed some bows too. So I made her some bow headbands.

I made my bows a little smaller than specified in the tutorial, and used Stitch Witchery to close the ends instead of sewing them shut. But I knew before I even started that they would look much better if my nephew had something to match.

What dapper little chap doesn’t need clip-on bow ties? These were surprisingly very easy to make. I used clip-on earring backs for the clip part, and simply inserted the clip when gluing the center piece around the bow.

I’m happy to say that brother and sister can match fabulously when they go out on the town together!
