Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

There are several things in my right now that I never pictured myself doing - especially for a job. These are things that I never did too much of while growing up, and they certainly weren’t things I enjoyed. Things like....

• playing baseball
• pretending to be “brave knights” and “breathing dragons” {actually, I got to be the princess}
• playing with cars
• playing with trains
• playing with planes
• playing with boats
• mystery solving
• battling with Beyblades
• trekking through swampy woods without a path {and getting stuck in thorn bushes}

Yes, that’s right. I do these things for my job. Two jobs, actually. I just started a new babysitting job today. Together with my current job, I now work with all boys. All the time.  It is exhausting and I have to do things I would never dream of doing otherwise. Today, I even had to pick out boy clothes and comb boy hair. But it’s also fun! And really, who needs to work out when you lots of crazy outdoor activities everyday?


But I can’t help thinking...
Given Judah’s {ahem} family history, maybe God is trying to prepare me for something...
