Monday Makings: Unicorn Hot Chocolate
You may have seen this recent trend on social media. Or maybe you haven’t, and you have my deepest condolences. But good news: now you know!
I’ve been a little obsessed with unicorns lately, so I had to have it. While my unicorn hot chocolate is not as fancy as others, it’s really easy to make. All you need is white hot chocolate (found on Amazon), food coloring, and your toppings.
Ingredients
- White hot chocolate, prepared according to package directions
- Red food coloring
- Whipped cream
- Rainbow sprinkles
- Rainbow marshmallows (can be found at Target or online)
*A quick note about toppings: You can get really creative here! I just used toppings that I could find easily, without breaking the bank. You could add colored sugar, lollipops, cotton candy, etc. The point is for everything to be rainbow and, well, completely over the top.
Once you have your ingredients, all you have to do is prepare your white hot chocolate as directed on the packaging, color it with a few drops of red food dye, and top with whipped cream and your other toppings.
Unicorns not your thing? (Weird.) Allergic to red food coloring? How about some Cookie Monster hot chocolate?
Use blue food coloring instead of red…
And top with cookie crumbs!
