China Day 5: Tianjin Zoo and Nankai University

 Today, we went to the Tianjin Zoo in the morning. We spent a few hours exploring the zoo and looking at a variety of animals. We were very excited to see pandas in real life, but thought it was pretty funny that they slept the whole time. One of them had fallen asleep in his food bowl.

Afterwards, we went to a restaurant right outside of the zoo that has a lot of traditional Tianjin specialties. Auntie E showed us how to eat the various dishes we ordered. 

Finally, we took a short taxi ride to Nankai University, where Uncle Y is a professor. He gave us a tour of the campus, which was very beautiful. We learned some of the history of the university as well.
