China Day 7 and 8: Park Visits, Shopping, and Relaxing
After our Beijing trip, we were pretty exhausted, and not up for any major activities. On Thursday morning, we walked to a local park, doing a bit of shopping on the way. Here is the street that Auntie E and her friends refer to as "shopping street."
Then we relaxed at the park while the girls played and used the exercise equipment.
We spent a quiet evening at home, playing with the birds that live at Auntie E and Uncle Y's apartment.
On Friday, we felt pretty similarly, and wanted to take it easy for the day. We walked to another park in the morning.
We then took the subway to the mall and did a bit more shopping. Pumpkin is a fan of Chinese style and bought herself some hair accessories.
We had Suzhou noodles for lunch in the mall, followed by Cantonese style desserts elsewhere in the mall. I am really going to miss Chinese noodles when we return home!
